About the Races 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Q. Is there a pacing requirement for the race?

A. There is a 16 minute per mile pace for the Disneyland® Paris 5K, the Disneyland® Paris 10K and the Disneyland® Paris Half Marathon. The time limits begin when a participant crosses the start line. It is suggested that participants train for a 15 minute per mile pace to allow time for restroom breaks, photo opportunities, and other diversions on the course.

Q. Are the Disneyland® Paris Run Weekend events walker-friendly?

A. Both runners and walkers who can maintain a 16 minute per mile pace are welcome to participate in the Disneyland® Paris Run Weekend events.

Q. Are participants allowed to wear a costume?

A. Costumes are permitted and encouraged at runDisney events! Please note that costumes cannot include a face mask for the safety of all participants. Disneyland® Paris reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests. Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.

Q. Can I use my iPod, MP3 player or headphones?

Headphones may be worn but are discouraged due to audio messages that are placed throughout the course to ensure participant safety

Q. If my friend or family member is assigned to a different corral, can we change corrals?

A. Corral placement is based on each individual’s anticipated finishing time or submitted proof of time. The person placed in the faster corral is allowed to move back to a slower corral, but no one is allowed to move forward.

Q. Am I allowed to participate with a service animal?

A.We can offer human guides for registered participants who may require additional assistance. Please contact us for more details.

Registration 📋

Q. Does my race registration include entry into the Disney parks?

A. Race registration includes entry into Disney® Parks during the races only, and a park ticket is not required to participate in the races. For visits to Disneyland® Paris during the rest of your stay, Disney® Park Tickets must be purchased separately. Guests who have purchased a package through Run To The Magic will have park tickets included.

Q. What do I need for my proof of time?

A. If you are able to finish the Disneyland® Paris Half Marathon in less than 1:30 hours, proof of time will be required to be part of the first corral. For an estimated finishing time higher than 1:30 hours, no proof of time is needed.
Please submit your proof of time information during the finalisation of your registration online. Proof of time is not required for the Disneyland® Paris 10K and 5K.

Q. Where do I pick up my race bib?

A. All participants must pick up their race bibs at the runDisney Expo held in the Disney Events Arena located in Disney Village®.

Q. Is race bib pick-up available on the day of the race?

A. Race bibs for all Disneyland® Paris Run Weekend races must be picked up at the runDisney Expo in advance of the race.

Race Bib Pickup for the Disneyland Paris Run Weekend

All race bibs must be collected prior to the race. Before the event runDisney will email you a voucher which you will need to bring when picking up your race bib, along with a valid photo ID.

Please note the scheduled opening times for the race bib pickup:

Thursday 24th September 2020                    3pm – 8pm

Friday 25th September 2020                         10am – 8pm

Saturday 26th September 2020                    9am – 7pm

If you are participating in the Disneyland® Paris 5K on the Friday evening, your race bib must be collected by 6pm on Friday 25th September.

Q. What do I need to bring to pick up my race bibs?

A. To pick up your race bibs, you must bring a valid photo ID (driver’s license, passport, Military ID, Government issued ID) and your voucher with bib number which will be emailed to you closer to the time of the event. If the participant is under 18 years old, do not forget to also bring the parental approval completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Q. Can I pick up the race bibs of another participant?
A. To collect a runner’s bib on behalf of someone else, you must show your valid photo ID and a copy of the valid ID of the person you are picking the runner’s kit for. You will need to bring the original printed voucher, as well as a power of attorney signed by the runner. It is mandatory that this power of attorney shows your first and last name, plus the other person’s first and last name. Please add the exact details of the race bibs the person is picking up.

Half Marathon 🏅

Q. Where will the Half Marathon take place?

A. The Half Marathon will take place in the Disney® Parks and in some of the surrounding villages and countryside.

Q. What is the age requirement for the Disneyland Paris Disneyland® Paris Half Marathon?

A. Participants must be at least 18 years old on the day of the race to take part in the Disneyland® Paris Half Marathon.

Q. What time do I need to be in my assigned corral?

A. Participants will need to be in their assigned corral no later than 30 minutes prior to the Disneyland Paris Half Marathon start. Runners who arrive after the race starts will not be allowed to participate.

Q. How many water and food stops will be located on the Half Marathon?

A. Several water stops will be available along the course and the finish line.

Q. Is Food and Beverage available prior to the Race?

A. Several locations in Disney Village® and at the Disney® Hotels will open early for race participants and spectators. If you have added Hotel Breakfast to your Run To The Magic package then selected breakfast items will be available from 5am on the morning of the Half Marathon. Additionally, pre-race water will be available in the Family Reunion Area prior to the start of the race.

Q. Which timing splits will be provided for the Half Marathon?

A. Race results and runner tracking for the Half Marathon will include splits for the 5K, 10K and 15K. Overall gun and net times are also provided.

Q. Will there be a stroller division for the Disneyland® Paris Half Marathon?

A. The Disneyland® Paris Half Marathon does not offer a stroller division. For the safety of all participants, strollers will not be allowed on the race course.

10K Race 😁

Q. Where will the Disneyland Paris Disneyland® Paris 10K take place?

A. The Disneyland Paris 10K will take place in the Disney® Parks starting and finishing near Disney Village®.

Q. What is the age requirement for the Disneyland Paris Disneyland® Paris 10K?

A. Participants must be at least 14 years old on the day of the race to take part in the Disneyland® Paris 10K.

Q. What time do I need to be in my assigned corral?

A. Participants will need to be in their assigned corral no later than 30 minutes prior to the race. Runners who arrive after the start of the Disneyland Paris 10K will not be allowed to take part in the race.

Q. Is the 10K a timed race?

A. The 10K is an untimed event; no race results will be available.

Q. Are there awards for the 10K?

A. Because the 10K is untimed, there will be no awards given for top finishers.

Q. Will there be a stroller division for the Disneyland® Paris 10K?

A. The Disneyland® Paris 10K does not offer a stroller division. For the safety of all participants, strollers will not be allowed on the race course.

5K Race 🥰

Q. Where will the 5K take place?

A. The 5K will take place in the Disney® Parks starting and finishing near Disney Village®.

Q. What is the age requirement for the 5K?

A. Participants must be at least 5 years old on race day to run in the 5K.

Q. What time do I need to be in my assigned corral?

A. Participants will need to be in their assigned corral no later than 30 minutes prior to the race. Runners who arrive after the 5K starts will not be allowed to participate in the race

Q. Is the 5K a timed race?

A. The 5K is an untimed event; no race results will be available.

Q. Are there awards for the 5K?

A. Because the 5K is untimed, there will be no awards given for top finishers.

Q. Will there be a stroller division for the Disneyland® Paris 5K?

Challenges 👍

Q. What is the runDisney Castle to Château Race Challenge?

A. If you complete the half marathon at Disneyland® Paris and a half marathon or marathon at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida, in the same calendar year, then you will receive an additional medal commemorating your achievement.

Q. What is the runDisney 31K Challenge?

A. This challenge combines Saturday’s 10K with Sunday’s Half Marathon. Complete both races within the pacing requirements and you will receive an additional medal commemorating your achievement.

Q. What is the runDisney 36K Challenge?

A. This challenge combines Friday’s 5K, Saturday’s 10K and Sunday’s Half Marathon. Complete all three races within the pacing requirements and you will receive an additional medal commemorating your achievement.

Q. What is the runDisney Cinderella Challenge?

A. This challenge combines Saturday’s 5k and Sunday’s 8k at the Disneyland Paris Princess Run Weekend in May 2020. Complete both races within the pacing requirements and you will receive an additional medal commemorating your achievement.

Post Race 👏👏

Q Where can I find my race results from the Disneyland® Paris Half Marathon?

A. Race results will be posted online within 24 hours of the conclusion of the race. Please note, race results are not captured for the 5K or 10K. You will be able to view your results for the Half Marathon on the Results page which will be published after the race

Q. How do I find my race photos after the race?

A. Race photos will be loaded within a week of the event to the Results page. To find your specific race photos, please visit the Results page which will be published after the event.

Q. Is there an awards ceremony?

A. Yes, top finisher awards for the Half Marathon will be presented at the awards ceremony.

Transport 🚗

Q. Is event transportation provided during the Disneyland® Paris Run Weekend?

A. Transportation from Disney® Hotel (excluding Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch) will not be provided as they are within walking distance from all Disneyland® Paris Run Weekend events. Guests staying at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch as well as non Disney® Hotels must arrange their own transportation and should park at Disneyland® Paris Visitor Car Park, standard parking fees will apply.

Q. Is transportation available for spectators?

A. No there isn’t. Spectators staying at a Disney® Hotel (excluding Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch) can walk to the racecourse. Guests staying at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch as well as non Disney® hotels must arrange their own transportation and should park at Disneyland® Paris Visitor Car Park, standard parking fees will apply.

Q. Will there be road closures or delays?

A. Yes there will be. If you are driving to the race, please plan for traffic delays on race morning.

Spectators 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Q. Where are spectators allowed to watch the Disneyland® Paris Half Marathon Weekend events?

A. Spectators can view the start of the races, as well as select locations along the course outside the Disney® Parks in Disney Village® and around the Disney® Hotels. A limited number of spectator wristbands will be available from the runDisney Expo which will allow access to Main Street, U.S.A or the race finish line.

Q. Where should I plan to meet up with my runner after the race?

A. Before your runner starts the race, designate a meeting area in the Family Reunion Area.

PhotoPass+ 📸

Q. How many race bibs are included in my PhotoPass+?

A. A maximum of 1 bib can be added to the PhotoPass+ Just Run! A maximum of 3 bibs can be added to the PhotoPass+ Multi-Run and the PhotoPass+ Run & Parks. If participating in the 31K Challenge or 36K Challenge, this is classed as just 1 bib.

Q. When can I retrieve my photos?

A. All photos associated to your PhotoPass+ card will be transfered to the website after the event and will be available for 90 days.

Guests with Disabilities ♿️

Q. What are the accessibility requirements for guests with disabilities?

A. Disneyland® Paris offers services for people with disabilities so that everyone can live the magic of Disney. Please visit City Hall in the Disneyland® Park or Studio Services in the Walt Disney Studios® Park with your companion(s), one of whom must be an adult aged 18 years or over. To receive a priority card, you must present your disability card or a medical certificate.

Q. Can I rent a wheelchair at Disneyland® Paris?

A. Yes. Manual wheelchairs can be rented at the Stroller/Pushchair and Wheelchair Rental shop, located at Disneyland® Park by the entrance at Town Square Terrace, and at Walt Disney Studios® Park near Studio Services. A Cast Member will inform you of the rental conditions and price.
